BANGOR — Bangor police have arrested a man on charges of burglary.
According to the Bangor Police Department, Clyde Cooper, 51, was arrested Saturday morning for allegedly stealing a firearm from a local pawn shop.
The burglary took place on March 24. Cooper has been charged with burglary, theft of a firearm, and violation of conditions of release.
Cooper was currently out on bail from a previous burglary in Bangor.
Additionally, Cooper was charged with possession of scheduled drugs for allegedly having a large amount of suspected methamphetamines on him during the burglary arrest.
Cooper is being held at the Penobscot County Jail on a cash bail of $4,000.
