A 60-year-old man was arrested on Saturday and booked into jail on a charge of murder in connection with a Friday night shooting.
Joseph Peterson is accused of killing a man at around 11:30 p.m. on Friday in the 300 block of St. Charles Avenue.
Mobile police say that Peterson shot and killed the victim, who was pronounced dead on the scene.
Police are not releasing the victim’s name until his next-of-kin are notified.
