Seaford man arrested in connection to stabbing - 47abc - WMDT

SEAFORD, Del. – A Seaford man is behind bars following a reported stabbing earlier this week.

Tuesday afternoon, Seaford Police responded to TidalHealth Nanticoke for a report of a victim arriving with a serious stab wound. After being stabilized, the victim was transferred to another hospital where they were initially listed in critical condition. The victim is now reported to be in stable condition.

Further investigation revealed that the victim was visiting a residence in the 700 block of Collins Avenue when an altercation broke out with a man, 54-year-old Fernandez Bolden. It is alleged that Bolden grabbed a knife during the altercation and stabbed the victim.

A few hours later, investigators located Bolden at a residence on Grace Circle. Surveillance was kept on Bolden until an arrest warrant was obtained, at which time he was taken into custody and charged with first degree assault. He was turned over to the Department of Corrections on a $20,000 cash bond.
